What is the most important information I should know about Cefzil?
• Take all of the Cefzil that has been prescribed for you even if you beginto feel better cefzil. Your symptoms may start to improve before the infection is completelytreated cefzil.

What is Cefzil?
• Cefzil is an antibiotic in a class of drugs called cephalosporins cefzil. Cefzilfights bacteria in the body cefzil.
• Cefzil is used to treat many different types of bacterial infectionssuch as bronchitis, tonsillitis, ear infections, and skin infections cefzil.
• Cefzil may also be used for purposes other than those listed in thismedication guide cefzil.
What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking Cefzil?
• Do not take Cefzil if you have ever had an allergic reaction to anothercephalosporin or to a penicillin without first talking to your doctor cefzil.
• Before taking Cefzil, tell your doctor if you have
· kidney disease, or
· a gastrointestinal (digestive) disease such as colitis cefzil.
• You may not be able to take Cefzil, or you may require a dosage adjustmentor special monitoring during treatment if you have either of the conditionslisted above cefzil.
• The Cefzil (Cefzil) oral suspension contains 28 mg of phenylalanine perteaspoon (5 mL) of suspension for both the 125 mg/5 mL and 250 mg/5 mL dosagestrengths cefzil. Individuals with phenylketonuria may need to monitor their intakeof phenylalanine cefzil.
• Cefzil is in the FDA pregnancy category B cefzil. This means that it is notexpected to be harmful to an unborn baby cefzil. Do not, however, take Cefzil withoutfirst talking to your doctor if you are pregnant or could become pregnant duringtreatment cefzil.
• It is not known whether Cefzil passes into breast milk cefzil. Do not take thismedication without first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding ababy cefzil.
How should I take Cefzil?
• Take this medication exactly as directed by your doctor cefzil. If you do notunderstand these directions, ask your pharmacist, nurse, or doctor to explainthem to you cefzil.
• Take each dose with a full glass of water cefzil.
• Cefzil can be taken on an empty stomach or with food or milk if it causesstomach upset cefzil.
• Take Cefzil at evenly spaced intervals to keep a constant level of drugin the body cefzil. It is important to take Cefzil regularly to get the most benefit cefzil.
• Shake the liquid form of Cefzil well before measuring a dose cefzil. To ensurethat you get a correct dose, measure the suspension with a dose-measuring spoonor cup, not a regular table spoon cefzil. If you do not have a dose-measuring device,ask your pharmacist where you can get one cefzil.
• Take all of the Cefzil that has been prescribed for you even if you beginto feel better cefzil. Your symptoms may start to improve before the infection is completelytreated cefzil.
• Store the tablets at room temperature away from moisture and heat cefzil.
• Store the suspension in the refrigerator cefzil. Throw away any unused medicationafter 14 days cefzil.
What happens if I miss a dose?
• Take the missed dose as soon as you remember, then try to evenly spacethe rest of the doses for that day until you can return to a normal schedule cefzil. Do not take a double dose of this medication unless otherwise directed by yourdoctor cefzil.
What happens if I overdose?
• Seek emergency medical attention if an overdose is suspected cefzil.
• Symptoms of a Cefzil overdose may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,abdominal cramps, seizures, numbness and tingling in the arms or legs, and musclespasms cefzil.
What should I avoid while taking Cefzil?
• There are no restrictions on food, beverages, or activities during treatmentwith Cefzil unless otherwise directed by your doctor cefzil.
What are the possible side effects of Cefzil?
• If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop takingCefzil and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat;swelling of the lips, face, or tongue; hives; or a rash);
· rash, redness, or itching;
· severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea;
· mucous or blood in the stool; or
· unusual bleeding or bruising cefzil.
• Other, less serious side effects may also occur cefzil. Continue to take themedication and talk to your doctor if you experience:
· mild nausea or diarrhea, or
· yeast infection of the mouth or vagina cefzil.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur cefzil. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome cefzil.
What other drugs will affect Cefzil?
• Before taking Cefzil, tell your doctor if you are taking any of the followingmedicines
· probenecid (Benemid);
· a loop diuretic (water pill) such as furosemide, bumetanide (Bumex),torsemide (Demadex), or ethacrynic acid (Edecrin);
· warfarin (Coumadin); or
· another antibiotic cefzil.
• You may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatmentif you are taking any of the medicines listed above cefzil.
• Drugs other than those listed here may also interact with Cefzil cefzil. Talkto your doctor and pharmacist before taking any prescription or over-the-countermedicines, including vitamins, minerals, and herbal products cefzil.
